Work begins on our Corporate Headquarters Lobby Renovation for Michigan Real Estate Company

Work began today on the lobby renovation for Michigan Real Estate Company, Eyde Corporate Headquarters building in East Lansing, Michigan. We are updating all of the common area lobbies as well as the restrooms and elevators.  Along with new porcelain tile throughout the first floor, we are replacing the brass “bands” in the atrium with maple and adding maple panels and granite tiles around the elevators.  New stainless steel elevator doors and new interior panels in the elevator cabs are the finishing touches on the first floor.

The remainder of the floors will receive new carpet, paint, wallpaper and maple chair rail.  All floors will also have new lighting fixtures in the elevator lobbies.  The restrooms are being updated with new flooring, wallcovering, granite counters and under-mount, solid surface sinks, as well as new lighting and accessories.

Work on the lobbies is expected to take three months, while work on the restrooms will be done in phases and will take a little longer.

We want to thank our tenants for putting up with the noise and dust as our building is updated.  We hope our tenants will be as excited about the finished product as we are.
